Kevin Jonas Brings Daughters to New Jersey Devils Game

Kevin Jonas scored some major dad points this week.

The eldest Jonas Brother brought his daughters, Alena and Valentina, to the New Jersey Devils game on Thursday night. Although the team lost 6-3 to the Edmonton Oilers, the trio appeared to be having a blast together in a photo snapped at the game.

“Great night out with my girls at the @njdevils game!” he captioned the snap on Instagram.

The hockey-game appearance comes two months before the Jonas Brothers—made up of New Jersey natives Kevin, 36, Joe Jonas, 34, and Nick Jonas, 31—perform at the NHL Stadium Series on February 17 at MetLife Stadium, when the Devils take on the Philadelphia Flyers.

Although all three Jonas Brothers grew up in Wyckoff, Bergen County, Kevin is the only sibling to still reside in the Garden State. He and wife Danielle Jonas, who wed in 2009, are raising their two girls in Denville, the town where Danielle grew up.

The family lives just a few blocks from Danielle’s parents and close to many of her childhood friends, which makes things easier when Kevin is on the road with the band. “It’s been a blessing—really nice for us to have a safe place here and a community around us,” Kevin told New Jersey Monthly in 2022.

When Kevin is not out on tour, he, Danielle and the kids love spending time outdoors together; in the summer, they head down the Shore. “It’s our own version of the Hamptons,” he said. “It really is incredible.”

Although Joe and Nick no longer live in their home state, Kevin and Danielle make sure they get their fill of Jersey foods when they’re back visiting. “We still bring the Taylor ham to them,” Danielle, 37, told us. “Or the meatballs.”

As Kevin described the family, “We are true Jersey, through and through.”

The Jonas Brothers, who formed in 2005, broke up in 2013, and reunited in 2019 to huge fanfare, performed earlier this month on their home turf during tour stops at the Prudential Center in Newark.
