Mysterious Al Roker Billboard Pops Up in New Jersey

Everybody loves Al Roker—and now there’s a billboard to prove it.

A mysterious billboard popped up on Route 17 in Bergen County touting the Today show weatherman with the message, “Things We All Agree on: Al Roker.”

During Friday’s episode of the NBC morning show show, co-host Carson Daly told viewers that  someone had sent in the photo of the billboard, but that nobody had an explanation as to how it appeared. Daly asked Roker if he has any friends in that area. He said he didn’t but did note, “I still always love the Tick Tock Diner off Route 3. You have that clock that says ‘eat heavy,’ but other than that…”

“I thought it was nice though because the sentiment is right in this crazy world right now, you’re at the epicenter of calm,” Daly told Roker on the air.

The affable weatherman took the compliment in stride, joking, “That gives you an idea of how bad things are.”

Roker, 71, lives in New York City and the Hudson Valley but his daughter Courtney Roker Laga and her family live in the Garden State. He was even spotted taking NJ Transit to visit his granddaughter Sky Clara just after she was born about two years ago.

“Riding @njtransit to go see my #grandaughter Lotsa seats and no traffic. Whooo whoooooo!!” the “Today” show personality captioned a smiling selfie on the train.

The show airs weekly on Wednesdays.

As we prepared to leave the house where we raised our children for a decade, a location scout offered an unexpectedly cinematic way to say goodbye.
