
I remember when Anton was two, he once grimaced for a photo and then asked, earnestly, “Is that smiling, Mama?” It can be hard to figure out! So, I’m loving these recent snapshots of my honorary niece, Georgie. Cool smile unlocked.

Would you ever make a Spanish tortilla with salt-and-vinegar chips, instead of sliced potatoes? “Good looooord,” wrote a reader named Olive. “The chips make it more flavorful, and you can have the whole thing done in less than 30 minutes.” Intrigued, my mom and I are planning to make this when she visits next week.
