
The next meeting of the Mid-Nene RSPB Local Group is at the Saxon Hall, Raunds on Thursday 20 November 2025. This is a special 50th celebratory evening, with our speaker David Lindo and his talk “Urban Birds of Britain and Europe”. Buffet is included with wine, nibbles and cake.
If you would like to attend our special 50th anniversary celebratory evening, with David Lindo, and have not yet got your ticket, it’s time to hurry up. To allow time for the final planning of the catering, the last date for buying tickets will be the 12th November.
Tickets cost £12 per adult, children are free.
Please pay the £12 for each ticket by BACS to our charity account and email wrisdale1@tiscali.co.uk to let us know that you have done so. Your tickets will be ready for you at the Saxon Hall door to collect on the 20th November.

David is a broadcaster, writer, speaker, tour leader and educator, whose mission is mainly to engage city folk around the world with the environment through the medium of birds. He was shortlisted in 2020 for the Professional Publishers Association Columnist of the Year Award and was recently named as the 7th most influential person in wildlife by BBC Wildlife magazine. He is a regular columnist for The RSPB Magazine and in 2015 set up the nationwide vote which resulted in the Robin being announced as Britain’s national bird.
