These are personal stories – by interesting people. What brings them together is that they are all from scientists involved with activism in the area of climate change. I know a few of the authors, and know of some more, so I read those first and they got me off to a good start.
Unusually, a quote on the cover sums this book up really well. Zadie Smith wrote that you come across people who know a lot and people who feel a lot but rarely do they come together in the same people, but they do in this book and we are lucky to have it.
That’s what I would have said if I’d thought of it first. This book is inexpensive, interesting, and uplifting.
I’ve been invited to the book launch but I can’t go as it clashes with my birthday – but I would have liked to meet several of these authors face to face.
The cover? It works, but I’d only give it 6/10.
