What’s Your Low-Key Wish for Humanity?

One of the most famous and beloved CoJ comments is about shopping carts, of all things:

“I read an obituary once that said at the end, ‘In lieu of flowers, please return your shopping carts to the store don’t leave them all over the parking lot. That drove Larry crazy and it was his one wish for humanity.’” — S. Carson

My kids and I think about Larry whenever we go to the grocery store, and I know many others do, too. “Every time it’s raining, I still put my cart away and say, ‘Damn it, Larry!’” commented Florencia. “And I know there are a bunch of COJ readers doing the same.”

So, now I’m curious: if you were to leave one wish for humanity as your legacy — nothing serious, just goofy — what would it be? I’d say, please, people (including my own father), stop with the yell sneezes!!!

P.S. Nine reader comments on aging, 12 readers share their cozy corners, and what have CoJ readers taught you?
