Authentic, non-Americanized Chinese food is served in a fine dining experience at this new restaurant. Chef and owner Sean Yan, formerly the pastry chef at Old Bridge’s Heirloom Kitchen, named the restaurant after his parents’ zodiac signs–the ram and the rooster–and pays homage to their culture’s cuisine. A Chef’s Tasting prix-fixe dinner is available here, featuring dishes like scallop tempura, corn wanton, black bass and white peach ice cream.

Fifteen beers are on tap at this brewery, which celebrated its grand opening this past week. Icarus Brewing originally opened in 2017 in Lakewood, but after growing in production and popularity, the team has moved operations to its new, much larger Brick location, which features a spacious indoor taproom and outdoor beer garden with activities like corn hole. The brewery serves a variety of homemade ales, lagers, IPAs and a hard iced tea seltzer, which can even be served as a slushie.
