The Ambler Farmers Market is considered a must-visit farmers market in Pennsylvania, writes Emily Kovach for PA Eats.

As farmers markets gain popularity nationwide, the Ambler market, located at 29 W. Butler Ave., stands out for its dedication to community and quality.

Held every Saturday from May through November, 9 AM to 12 PM, the market brings together vendors and neighbors at the corner of Butler and Maple Avenues, near the SEPTA train station.

Despite challenging weather, residents and visitors alike flock to the market for peak-season produce and artisanal products.

The market’s inclusivity is evident, accepting FMNP and WIC Program vouchers, and most vendors now accept credit and debit cards, ensuring accessibility for all shoppers.

This move has been applauded by local officials and residents, as it makes supporting local farmers and artisans more convenient.

To stay informed about weekly vendors and upcoming events, shoppers are encouraged to sign up for the market’s email newsletter.
