In Your Community: Duplicate Bridge

Players gathered this Christmas season from Austin, Albert Lea, Rose Creek and Mason City and Northwood, Iowa to play their favorite card game.
Games are played at the Mower County Senior Center in Austin on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, starting at 11:30 a.m.
Due to illness, vacations, snow birds, we are down a bit and played seven teams on Tuesday. Winners were:
• First place, Joyce Crowe and John Buley
• Second place, Barb and Orrin Roisen
• Third place, Norm Blazer and Mike Leidal
• Fourth place, Larry Crowe and Gail Schmidt
Wednesday we had nine teams playing and winners were
• First place, Barb and Orrin Roisen
• Second place, Tom Flaherty and Stan Schultz
• Third place, Gail Schmidt and Dave Ring
• Fourth place (tie) Vandy Newman and Ron Peters and Bonnie Fritz and Joyce Crowe
We have full confidence that we will see this same group of people next week at the Duplicate Bridge table.
