Kingdom Hall Complete

VICTORIA – The Kingdom Hall on Victoria’s Shelbourne Street is finished. The City of Victoria gave Island Jehovah’s Witnesses occupancy permits one week ago.

The building has three separate Kingdom Halls and seven congregations. More than 95,000 volunteer hours went in to the building. The Chair of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Regional Building Committee says the mainly volunteer workout helped cut the 6 million dollar project in half. Bill Middleton says the new hall came in on-time and under budget.

1330 people from all over Vancouver Island spent time working on the project.

Everyone is welcome to an Open House May 27th from 10am to 6pm.
